Moscow, 25 Feb. 2013. Money Mail.Ru, in conjunction with Tinkoff Credit Systems Bank, has issued its own card. All users of Money Mail.Ru will be eligible to receive a MasterCard Gold card that shares a balance with the user's Mail.Ru payment account.

Now users can use Money Mail.Ru to make offline payments. The Money Mail.Ru card can be used to pay for goods and services in shops, hotels, movie theaters, and restaurants anywhere in the world that accept MasterCard. The card's balance is shared with the balance in the Mail.Ru payment account.

"We're putting synergy to work by issuing the Money Mail.Ru cards. Users will be able to make purchases on the Internet as well as from brick-and-mortar retailers, including abroad. And because the balance is shared between their online payment account and the Money card, they will not have to establish different accounts or carry cash. In addition, users will be able to safely use their Money Mail.Ru cards to set up recurring payments for services such as the AppStore, GooglePlay, Windows Store, Opera Store, Skype, and others," claims Nailya Zamashkina, the head of Money Mail.Ru's payment service.

This new product meets customers' needs by combining the functionality of a physical payment card with the convenience of e-cash," noted Anatoly Makeshin, the director of payment systems and member of the board of TCS Bank.

A Money Mail.Ru cardholder will be eligible for all of the privileges extended to MasterCard Gold cardholders, such as discounts, special offers, and promotions.

The Money Mail.Ru card is issued free of charge and maintenance costs for the first three years are only 139 rubles. Cards can be ordered on the website.

Money Mail.Ru is an electronic payment system and a project of the Mail.Ru Group. Money Mail.Ru can be used to make instant payments for goods and services on the Internet at any time. For the convenience of Money Mail.Ru users, there are several options for adding money to their account: via bank cards, Internet banking, or using cash-payment terminals or money orders. About 4,000 new users register with Money Mail.Ru each day.

The price for citizens located within the Russian Federation. The cost is 169 rubles for citizens outside of the Russian Federation.
