Cosway brilliantly and magnificently brought King's story to life! Knowing where he will end up, I knew going in that there would be a separation, but if you haven't read HOF, be prepared for the story to be broken up into a "before and "after". Alexis' character is an admirable, charismatic one; weaker female leads would have been swallowed up by King's enigma but Alexis not only holds her own but shows a strength that even King himself later leans on. King's PA and from the first moment they lay eyes on each other sparks fly. One thing Cosway is so good at is giving you a character and you expect them to be one thing, but by the end of the book your perception of them has changed.
